So you’ve been training hard and have finally made it to…

…Race day. How exciting!

On race day, it’s a good idea to warm up by swimming out and checking the course itself.

If that’s not an option, study the course visually and identify landmarks that you will sight (don’t forget tip #2) to help you through the race.

You will want to make sure that you identify any potential hazards that you can before you hit the water. This will help keep you safe and potentially give you the chance to get a leg up on your competition.

Don’t forget that you are competing in a triathlon to have fun, so make sure that you do!
